Titirangi Golf Club – Assistant greenskeeper

Titirangi is New Zealand's only Alister MacKenzie-designed golf course, and we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our turf management team. 

As well as looking after our own course, we work in collaboration with Maungakiekie Golf Club, improving playing conditions at both sites through course development projects and course maintenance practices. This provides the opportunity for single-site and multi-site working conditions.

The role would suit a self-motivated individual who is interested and enthusiastic about turf management. The successful applicant will have an understanding of the game of golf and be hard-working with attention to detail. There is also scope for the right candidate to progress into training towards the National Certificate in sports turf management.

The position is a hands-on role that includes weekend work on a roster basis.

Ideal skill criteria:

• must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• must be physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
• previous small machinery experience is preferred but not essential
• honest and reliable with good communication skills
• an understanding of workplace health & safety requirements and reporting
• applicants must be legally able to work in New Zealand.

Titirangi Golf Club – part time bar staff

We're looking for part time staff for our bar and hospitality areas.

During the summer, hours will be approximately 20-30 per week; in the winter approximately 10-20 hours per week.

The position involves table service in the bar area as well as behind the bar. Good communication skills, with a friendly and polite personality are the main requisites. Previous customer service experience is ideal but not required.
