Discerning golfers and disciples of Alister MacKenzie come from around the world to play at Titirangi.
The Alister MacKenzie pedigree is just one of the reasons behind Titirangi’s enduring popularity (this is the same genius behind the design of such golfing masterpieces as the Augusta National, Cypress Point and the Royal Melbourne).
US Links magazine, US Golf Digest, Robb Report and top100golfcourses all rate the course as the best in Auckland (and among the top 7 in New Zealand). It’s also one of only nine Marquee Courses in the country.
And then there’s the majestic setting. One that has been almost 100 years in the making. Rolling fairways set amid lush native New Zealand bush – a short twenty minute drive from the heart of Auckland city.
The Titirangi Golf Club is such a popular destination that some players book their tee-time a year in advance. So we would recommend that you pre-book to secure your game.
Because Titirangi is a member’s club there are certain times of the week reserved for member-only competitions (on Wednesdays and Saturdays, for example, visitors are not permitted before 1pm).
You can find out more about reserved times on the Booking Page. We do, however, run a series of regular events for visitors who are eager to be part of a competition.
Our Black Tee Challenge Days, for example, are usually held on the last Friday of each month from January to November. This gives golfers the opportunity to play the course the way the Professionals do – from the Black Championship Tees.
